Full Job Description

General Purpose of the Job:

To perform preventative, predictive, reactive maintenance as well as various design and project work to keep the facility in top operation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

MUST BE 18 YEARS OF AGE TO APPLY

Directs the work activities of a team of technicians and oversees maintenance activity on the production floor.
Communicate and advise Maintenance Coordinator on recommendations for capital improvements and maintenance requirements for annual budget.
Monitor tool and part inventories and the condition and maintenance of shops to ensure adequate working conditions.
Coordinate and perform industrial electrical troubleshooting/repair/install.
Perform equipment (mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic) troubleshooting/repair.
Perform PLC programming/troubleshooting.
Perform robot programming/troubleshooting.
Fabrication, repair of tooling/fixtures.
Perform preventative maintenance procedures and adjust procedures as needed.
Perform equipment design, procurement of parts, and installation of new equipment.
Input and retrieve information from the CMMS system.
Must be able to make quick decisions while under pressure.
Be able to work and complete projects on your own.

Competencies:

Preventative/Reactive maintenance forms, activity reports.
Project Management - Task list and project forms.
Safety permits.
Equipment procedures (writing and following).
Purchase Order forms.
Demonstrates dependability and shows a sense of urgency about getting results; willing to commit the hours it takes to get the job completed; takes responsibility for actions and achieves results; overcomes obstacles.

Education and/or Experience:

Associates degree (AA) or equivalent from a two year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
