Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in food production and preparation, ensuring that every meal meets our high standards of quality and presentation. This position requires strong teamwork, attention to detail, and adherence to food safety practices.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
Adhere to food safety guidelines and sanitation practices at all times.
Assist in the training and supervising of junior kitchen staff as needed.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service.
Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages.
Participate in catering events as required, contributing to menu planning and execution.

Experience

Previous experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role within the hospitality or restaurant management field is preferred.
Familiarity with fine dining standards and catering operations is a plus.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for food preparation.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards.
Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.
Experience in supervising kitchen staff or assisting with training is beneficial.
