Job description:

Tucci’s Italian Steakhouse, a premier dining destination located in the heart of Dublin’s Historic District, is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Assistant Manager to become a key member of our team!

About the Role:
As Assistant Manager, you will be instrumental in driving both the financial performance and the exceptional culture of our restaurant. Collaborating closely with the General Manager, you will provide strong leadership in both front and back of house operations, inspiring our team to consistently deliver outstanding guest experiences.

Salary Range: $60,000-$70,000 (Commensurate with experience)

Key Responsibilities Include:

Training all restaurant staff, including servers and hosts
Efficiently scheduling employees to ensure optimal coverage while managing labor costs
Continuous Improvement of restaurant processes to elevate the guest experience.
Regular monitoring of restaurant finances, including sales and expenses, in partnership with the General Manager.
Diligent enforcement of food handling regulations and maintaining the highest standards of guest safety
Proactive initiatives to promote the restaurant and cultivate a growing guest base.
Professional and and efficient resolution of guest concerns.
Support with essential administrative tasks, including: sales, inventory, and staff attendance reports.

Requirements:

A minimum of 3 years of management experience within the fine dining hospitality sector.
Availability to work approximately 52 hours per week across a 5-day work week
Familiarity with Profit & Loss (P&L) management, or a strong willingness to learn.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment.
Demonstrated success in engaging guests and nurturing a positive team environment.
**Preferred:** Experience and knowledge of wine, given Tucci's esteemed wine program and extensive selection.
A clear understanding and commitment to executing the principles of Genuine Hospitality on every shift.
Consistent demonstration of a positive and professional demeanor.
Proven ability to address guest and employee issues with composure and professionalism.
