Assignment Overview

Shift: Days, 4x10hrs
Hours: 40 hrs/wk
Start Date: Aug 24, 2026
Length: 13 weeks

Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced EP Lab RN for a 13-week travel contract in Ohio, requiring active ACLS/BLS certifications and a minimum of 2 years of EP Lab experience.

Details

Work setting is a dedicated Electrophysiology (EP) Lab within a cardiac hospital
Specialized procedures include cardiac ablation, cardiac mapping, cardioversion, pacemaker/defibrillator lead extraction and removal, AICD insertion and programming, arrhythmia induction, baseline measurements, conduction studies, cardiac implant closure device procedures, and Left Atrial Appendage (LAA) closure
Schedule is 4x10-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:00–17:30
On-call requirement of 1 week every 2 months
Epic EMR used

Requirements

Active OH or Compact RN license required
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of EP Lab experience required
Hands-on experience with electrophysiology lab procedures required
Epic EMR experience required
2 professional references required: at least 1 from a Manager, Director, or formal leadership role (e.g., Supervisor); a Charge RN is acceptable as a second reference; coworker references are not accepted

Additional Information

First-time travelers are welcome to apply
Local candidates are accepted
Ohio state fingerprinting is required and must be initiated promptly after signing a contract — candidates outside Ohio will need to travel to an in-state fingerprinting location or complete a mailed fingerprinting packet upon receipt
Former employees of the facility are eligible after a minimum 6-month separation from the facility
RTO must be requested upfront and is limited to 7 days or fewer for the contract duration
Paid parking options are available on campus through CampusParc, ranging from a budget surface lot with shuttle access to a convenient medical center garage
