Job Description
The Warehouse Associate safely operates industrial trucks, including sit-down and stand-up forklifts and reach trucks, to load, unload, transport, and stack goods in a fast-paced warehouse and distribution environment. This role supports a 3PL warehouse operation serving data center customers and plays a key part in conducting safety checks, managing inventory, handling materials, and preparing orders for shipping.
Responsibilities

Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts and reach trucks to safely load, unload, transport, and stack goods throughout the warehouse.

Perform daily safety inspections and pre-operation checks on industrial trucks and related equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation.

Handle materials efficiently, including moving pallets, crates, and other inventory items to designated storage or staging areas.

Pick and prepare orders accurately according to pick lists or work orders, ensuring items are properly labeled and ready for shipment.

Support general labor tasks within the warehouse, such as organizing storage areas, consolidating pallets, and maintaining cleanliness and order.

Assist with inventory management by counting, tracking, and recording stock movements within the warehouse management processes.

Follow established procedures and safety guidelines when working in a 3PL warehouse environment supporting data center operations.

Participate in a forklift skills test during the first one to two days of employment and demonstrate proficiency in stand-up forklift and reach truck operation.

Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet productivity targets and ensure timely fulfillment of customer orders.

Adhere to all warehouse policies, including safe lifting practices, proper equipment use, and compliance with facility rules.
Essential Skills

Proven ability to safely operate industrial trucks, including sit-down forklifts, stand-up forklifts, and reach trucks, in a warehouse or distribution environment.

Experience working in a 3PL warehouse environment or similar logistics setting.

Demonstrated skills in material handling, including loading, unloading, transporting, and stacking goods.

Order picking experience with attention to accuracy and detail.

General labor experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution facility.

Inventory handling experience, including basic counting and tracking of stock.

Willingness and ability to successfully complete a forklift test within the first one to two days of employment.

Strong commitment to safety, including conducting and following equipment safety checks and procedures.
Additional Skills & Qualifications

Previous experience supporting data center-related warehouse operations is beneficial.

Comfort working with structured procedures and warehouse processes in a 3PL environment.

Ability to work effectively across different shifts, including weekdays and weekends, as needed.

Capability to perform physical tasks such as standing for extended periods, lifting, and moving materials within the warehouse.

Work Environment
This role is based in a warehouse and 3PL distribution environment supporting data center operations, with frequent use of sit-down and stand-up forklifts and reach trucks. The facility operates multiple shifts to support continuous operations: a first shift from Monday to Friday, 5:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.; a second shift from Monday to Friday, 1:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.; and a third shift from Monday to Friday, 9:00 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. Weekend schedules include a day shift from Friday to Sunday, 5:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and a night shift from Friday to Sunday, 5:00 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. The environment is fast-paced and physically active, with frequent material handling, equipment operation, and coordination across teams to meet operational goals.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.75/hr.
