Overview
Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Medical Diagnostic Sonographer, where your expertise in medical imaging will play a vital role in patient diagnosis and care. In this energetic and rewarding position, you will utilize advanced sonography techniques to produce high-quality images that assist physicians in diagnosing a wide range of medical conditions. Your knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology will be essential in delivering precise imaging services while ensuring patient comfort and safety. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute directly to patient outcomes through skilled imaging and compassionate care.

Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations across various specialties, including obstetrics, gynecology, and general radiology, with a focus on maternal-fetal medicine and Ob/Gyn procedures.
Prepare patients by explaining procedures clearly, ensuring they are comfortable and informed throughout the imaging process.
Apply aseptic techniques diligently to maintain a sterile environment during invasive or sensitive procedures.
Operate sophisticated sonography equipment to capture detailed images of internal organs, tissues, and fetal development.
Analyze images for quality and accuracy, making real-time adjustments as needed to optimize diagnostic value.
Collaborate closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to interpret findings and provide comprehensive reports.
Maintain meticulous documentation of procedures, patient information, and imaging results in compliance with healthcare regulations.

Qualifications

Proven experience in medical imaging with proficiency in sonography techniques across multiple specialties.
Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to diagnostic imaging.
Familiarity with maternal-fetal medicine principles and obstetric ultrasound procedures.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
Ability to demonstrate aseptic technique consistently to prevent infections during procedures.
Understanding of diagnostic radiology standards and the use of medical imaging equipment.
