Full Job Description

THIS IS AN ONSITE ROLE IN COLUMBUS, OHIO FOR THE FIRST TWO WEEKS, AFTER THE FRIST TWO WEEKS IT IS REMOTE. ONLY APPLY IF YOU CAN MEET THIS REQUIREMENT AND PASS A BACKGROUND CHECK. WE WILL ALSO NEED THE MONTH/DAY OF BIRTH ALONG WITH THE LAST 4 OF SSN FOR RESUMES THAT WILL BE CONSIDERED FOR THE NEXT ROUND. Hire Type: Will interview (remote via Teams)
Project Hours of Operation: M-F 7:00 am – 5:00 pm
Training Hours: M-F 8:30 am – 5:00 pm
Training will take place onsite beginning at 8:30 am for two weeks.

Project Overview:

A module-based approach for Provider Enrollment, Credentialing, and Self-Service Functions for the Ohio Department of Medicaid. Primary focus: NCQA and ODM Compliance - following the requirements of NCQA to maintain compliance and certification, Primary Source Verification – utilize approved primary sources for credentialing verification, Accurate Documentation – provide accurate evidence for ODM committee review, and Production and turnaround times – manage credentialing queues and workflow in order to provide timely results and meet SLA requirements.

Home Internet: No cellular based Internet Service Providers i.e. (T-Mobile, Verizon Mobile, etc.)

Remote workers supporting contact center operations must have access to the internet via their internet service provider by purchasing or maintaining a service that provides a minimum internet speed download requirement of 25 Mbps for a single user, download of 50 Mbps for shared internet connectivity, and 5 Mbps upload speed required; 10 Mbps preferred. Note: there may be some projects that have different requirements based on project needs which are communicated at the time of hire. Mobile hotspots must not be the primary source for internet connection for remote workers. Connectivity from the PC to the Internet router via a Category 5 or 6 ethernet patch cable is required to ensure optimal call quality and customer experience. Proof of an internet speed test must be provided upon request. Note: Google Speedtest or Speedtest.net can be used to test your speed and take a screenshot of the results.

Description:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Process Provider credentialing applications within NCQA guidelines

- Perform primary source verifications of all practitioner credentials using CAQH or other approved sources, includes but not limited to credentials related to State Licensure, DEA, and Education

- Maintain knowledge of Medicaid policies and NCQA requirements for credentialing providers

- Responsible for overall accuracy of work and resolving errors in a timely manner

- Perform searches in various web-based systems used to credential

- Create and maintain current documentation required for provider credentialing

Minimum Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent required

- Strong data entry and attention to detail

- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills

- Outstanding technology skills with intermediate capability in MS Office (Word, Excel, Access)

- Advanced ability navigating internet resources, including the ability to navigate through several databases and the ability to learn new systems quickly

- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

- Knowledge and understanding of the credentialing process

- Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced work environment

- Ability to successfully execute many complex tasks simultaneously

- Ability to work as a team member, as well as independently

- Previous experience with computers, phone systems, and headsets preferred

- Previous experience in credentialing preferred

- Previous experience in healthcare administration preferred
