Full Job Description

Dublin Orthodontics, a growing office characterized by teamwork, compassion and service, is looking for a professional with HEART that wants a long-term career with an opportunity to grow/advance. We are looking for an enthusiastic, intelligent, highly motivated, reliable and hard-working individual to join our fast-paced orthodontic team. If you are looking to have fun and be an important part of an amazing team, we are willing to provide you a great opportunity with excellent compensation and benefits.

Must be comfortable and competent with taking impressions / fitting bands, taking photos, radiographs, performing sterilization duties, performing lab duties, willing to learn new orthodontic procedures, self-motivated with attention to detail, and be cross-trained in other important roles in the practice including scheduling, marketing, answering phones etc. When not attending to patients, the ideal candidate would be interested in working in the in-house lab making retainers, aligners, and other appliances.

Training will be provided to the right person with eagerness to learn and who is interested in a long-term rewarding career.

Daily responsibilities include:

Chairside orthodontic assisting
Preparation of teeth for bonding of brackets
Seating and removal of bands / appliances
Removal and placement of wires
Placing separators
Placing ligature / lace ties
Instrument sterilization
Taking orthodontic records: X-rays, photos, impressions, intra-oral scans
Knowledge/use of 3-D scanner a plus
Pour up models
Fabricate essix retainers
Various other duties will be shared by team members (as needed)
Provide a comfortable and exceptional patient experience

Applicant must have:

Current dental radiography license
Hep B series / vaccination
Basic knowledge of dental / orthodontic terminology
1+ year(s) of orthodontic / dental experience

This is a 3 day per week (6:50 am to 4:30 pm) clinical position initially with potential increase in days/responsibilities for the right personenefits Include:

6 paid holidays per year

2 weeks paid PTO

After 1 year of service:

3 weeks paid PTO

Compensation will be based on qualifications and experience.
