Full Job Description

Day-to-Day Core Responsibilities:
- Reconcile payroll disbursements and ensure payroll transactions are accurate.
- Code payroll-related expenses to the appropriate general ledger (GL) accounts (which will be trained)
- Gather and validate payroll and financial data for processing and reporting.
- Prepare and post payroll-related journal entries in QuickBooks.
- Maintain a strong understanding of the organization's chart of accounts and GL structure.
- Process full-cycle payroll, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time.
- Reconcile employee hours and payroll expenses.
- Review coach employment agreements to verify pay rates, stipends, and compensation structures.
- Process payroll deductions, including garnishments and other withholdings.
- Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies and reconciliation issues.
- Ensure compliance with payroll policies, tax regulations, and internal controls.
