Full Job Description

Certified Pharmacy Technician (Full-Time)

We are currently seeking 2–3 motivated Certified Pharmacy Technicians to join our pharmacy team. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced professionals who are committed to providing exceptional customer service and accurate, efficient pharmacy support in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule

Full-time
Monday–Friday
9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
No weekends

Primary Responsibilities

Process new and refill prescriptions accurately using the pharmacy management system.
Assist patients with prescription questions while providing outstanding customer service.
Process insurance claims and resolve claim rejections when needed.
Prepare, count, label, and package medications for dispensing.
Verify prescription information for accuracy and completeness.
Stock medications and maintain appropriate inventory levels.
Prepare workstations and equipment for daily operations.
Perform administrative duties, including documentation and record maintenance.
Maintain compliance with all pharmacy policies, safety standards, and applicable regulations.

Required Qualifications

Current registration/licensure as required by the Ohio Board of Pharmacy and current Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification.
Minimum of two (2) years of pharmacy technician experience.
Successful completion of a Pharmacy Technician training program.
Experience using electronic pharmacy management and prescription processing systems.
Working knowledge of pharmacy law, medical terminology, medications, dosage calculations, and insurance billing.
Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with the following is a plus:

Over-the-counter (OTC) products.
JOBST® compression garments and/or Durable Medical Equipment (DME).
