Full Job Description

We are looking for a Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (MHNP), Licensed Social Worker (LSW/LISW), or Psychologist to deliver high-quality behavioral health services through telehealth platforms. This role offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans that promote mental well-being, recovery, and resilience, ensuring accessible and personalized care for diverse patient populations across Ohio.

Location: Ohio (Remote / Telehealth)

Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, including patient history, vital signs, and clinical evaluations using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans incorporating evidence-based therapies and medication management when appropriate, adhering to HIPAA regulations and DEA guidelines.
Provide telehealth counseling sessions for patients across Ohio, addressing anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral health challenges.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals including physicians, case managers, and advanced practice providers to coordinate care and optimize patient outcomes.
Document all clinical encounters accurately within electronic health records (EHR/Epic), ensuring compliance with medical documentation standards and CPT coding practices.
Educate patients on mental health conditions, coping strategies, medication use, and wellness practices to empower self-management.
Participate in case management activities such as discharge planning, utilization review, and follow-up care coordination for diverse populations including geriatrics, pediatric patients, and individuals with developmental disabilities.

Qualifications & Requirements

Current licensure as a Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (APRN), Licensed Social Worker (LSW/LISW), or licensed Psychologist in the state of Ohio (must be in good standing).
Proven experience working with behavioral health conditions, mental health, or substance abuse treatment.
Strong understanding of telehealth platforms; prior telehealth experience is highly preferred.
Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems (such as Epic, eClinicalWorks, or Athenahealth), with proficiency in medical documentation and ICD-10 coding.
Knowledge of pharmacology related to psychotropic medications and prescribing regulations under DEA guidelines.
Experience working with diverse populations, including children, seniors in memory or dementia care settings, or individuals with developmental disabilities.
Strong clinical assessment, crisis intervention, and patient communication skills.
