Full Job Description

S & G Manufacturing Group, LLC is a stainless-steel restaurant equipment and custom Millwork manufacturer based in Hilliard, Ohio. What sets us apart from other providers is our comprehensive ability to deliver design, fabrication, installation and manufacturing solutions for both mass production and specialty/customized needs.

· We are currently seeking a full-time New Business Development Manager to develop and grow sales in Millwork and Stainless-Steel product categories by prospecting and establishing contacts within specific industry segments such as general contractors, franchise businesses and other end users. This position will work closely with customers on their projects to ensure they are manufactured appropriately and timely. The position reports to the President of Manufacturing; compensation is base salary plus commission.

Responsibilities:

· Primary focus is to drive new sales, bring in new business, call customers, and be a key point of contact for customers. Ability to get new prospects into facility.

· Meet departmental objectives as established with the President.

· Continually profile each account (existing and prospective) to determine customer needs and identify key decision makers.

· Obtain information from prospective customers in order to provide accurate project quotes.

· Present project quote and credit terms to customers and answer any customer questions or concerns.

· Prepare purchase agreement for orders obtained and/or receive purchase orders and specifications from customers, reviews same to ensure the scope of work is consistent with job quote.

· Give estimated date of delivery to customers based on shop production and delivery schedules, as directed by production management.

· Maintain contact with customers throughout entire project to ensure customer satisfaction, assist in problem solving and document customer issues or product deficiencies.

· Ensure customer needs are met.

· Maintain strong customer trust and relationships.

· Maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in an effective manner with customers, co-workers, and supervisors.

· Other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

· 2-3 years Sales experience in a custom product sales environment and new business development.

· Restaurant construction and millwork experience/knowledge a plus.

· Proficiency with Microsoft software applications.

· Must be highly organized and detail oriented.

· Ability to develop working relationships with internal customers.

· Be an integral part of the internal process and accountable to both internal and external customers.

· Must own your accounts throughout the process.

· Demonstrate a high level of urgency for your accounts.

· Strong organizational and analytical skills.

· Effective written and verbal communications skills.

· Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers.

· Excellent Sales presentation and listening skills.

· Understanding of verbal and written contract agreements as related to acceptable industry standards.

· Ability to aggressively follow up on customer issues.

· Ability to effectively present information to management and other associates within department.
