Job Overview

Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Hotel Night Auditor, where your energetic and detail-oriented approach will ensure seamless overnight operations. In this vital role, you will oversee the nightly financial reconciliation, guest services, and security procedures to guarantee an exceptional experience for our guests while maintaining the integrity of hotel records. Your proactive attitude and excellent communication skills will help create a safe, welcoming environment during the overnight hours, supporting both guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Duties

Conduct nightly audits of all hotel financial transactions using property management systems (PMS) (we use FOSSE at the moment) or similar platforms to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Manage front desk operations during the night shift, including check-ins, check-outs, and guest inquiries with professionalism and hospitality expertise.
Handle multi-line phone systems, providing courteous and efficient communication with guests, staff, and external vendors while demonstrating strong phone etiquette.
Monitor security cameras and perform routine safety checks to uphold hotel security protocols and respond promptly to any emergency situations or guest concerns.
Prepare detailed shift reports, incident logs, and audit documentation to maintain accurate records for management review.
Assist with resolving guest service issues swiftly by applying customer service problem-solving skills and ensuring guest satisfaction.
Support hotel emergency procedures by being prepared to act swiftly in case of fire alarms, medical emergencies, or other critical incidents.

Experience

Proven experience in hospitality management or front desk operations within a hotel or resort environment.
Familiarity with hotel management software such as FOSSEE or other property management systems (PMS).
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in multiple languages; bilingual abilities are a plus.
Previous night audit experience is highly desirable, demonstrating knowledge of night audit procedures and guest relations.
Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures, guest services standards, and hospitality reservation systems.
Excellent phone communication skills with multi-line phone system proficiency and professional phone etiquette.
Experience working in a fast-paced environment requiring multitasking and problem-solving under pressure is preferred.
