This position is ONSITE in Marysville, OH must be able to commute to Marysville, OH

What’s a typical day as a Procurement Specialist? You’ll be:

Supporting sourcing activities from requirements intake through supplier recommendation, negotiation support, and contract execution.
Handling supplier communications, including coordinating pre-bid questions, site walk logistics, proposal tracking, and response clarifications.
Conducting thorough commercial analyses, preparing bid comparison matrices, evaluating proposals, and supporting award recommendations.
Coordinating with legal and contract resources, supporting purchase order and contract documentation, and maintaining clear records of decisions and unresolved risks.
Tracking open purchasing actions, stakeholder inputs, legal/commercial issues, and procurement deadlines to ensure project milestones are met.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

Have a bachelor’s degree and at least three years of procurement, sourcing, or contract administration experience, with a minimum of two years specifically in construction procurement.
Are skilled in understanding complex procurement requirements, commercial objectives, and supplier qualification criteria.
Possess strong communication skills and can work effectively with technical stakeholders in a confidential, policy-driven environment.
Have experience with construction categories such as general contractors, civil/site work, and building systems.
Excel at preparing sourcing summaries, RFQ/RFP packages, bid comparison matrices, risk/issue summaries, and status reports.
