Full Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking an Engineer to join our precision manufacturing team at BB&H Tool Co. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing part prints for inspection, managing our AS9100 QMS, managing internal and external audits, and running the metrology lab. This role is vital to ensuring accurate inspection, effective quality controls, and high-quality part fabrication in support of our customers in the food & beverage, utility, and defense sectors.

Duties

Review part prints, CAD models, and GD&T to develop inspection plans.
Manage the AS9100 QMS, including procedures, records, and continuous improvement.
Manage internal, customer, supplier, and registrar audits through corrective action closure.
Run the metrology lab and maintain inspection equipment, methods, and priorities.
Support first article, in-process, and final inspections.
Interpret drawings and customer requirements to ensure manufacturing compliance.
Investigate nonconformances and customer concerns through root cause and corrective action.
Track quality metrics and communicate improvement opportunities to leadership.

Qualifications

Desire to work in precision machining, aerospace, defense, or custom manufacturing.
Knowledge of systems-driven quality management systems.
Strong ability to interpret blueprints, GD&T, inspection methods, and customer specifications.
Excellent problem-solving, documentation, communication, and collaboration skills.
