Full Job Description

Basic Function: Prepares loan documents for closing of consumer, commercial, and real estate loan products to ensure full compliance and quality of loan documentation for funding. Collaborates with the lending team to resolve loan documentation issues, problem solving and process improvements efforts to maintain and continuously improve loan operations policy, procedure, and performance. Directly responsible for the daily administration of all loans and related bank accounts. Acts as the primary customer contact for all loan processing including loan funding, collateral management and problem resolution with regards to payments. Complies with all bank policies, procedures and federal regulations. Job Accountabilities*:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each of the essential duties satisfactorily:

This position coordinates the implementation/booking of all new loans and changes to existing loans.
Creates new loan files by preparing documentation, including scanning, entry into system and proper storage. This involves following loan procedures, verification of internal credit approvals and loan covenants, defining processing requirements associated with product types, terms, allocations, rate structure, fees, and or any special instructions.
Process all origination fees and closing costs. Prepare all requests and documents all activities in coordination with loan officers and legal counsel.
Reviews loan docs prior to funding. Completes quality checks of loan packets, document deficiencies, and resolves exceptions with loan officers, in accordance with Fidelity Federal’s Loan Policy and Procedures.
Orders title/lien searches and order loan title commitments under direction of the loan officer. Prepares lien filings, maintains current liens filings and prepare lien releases and terminations when needed.
Initiates appropriate funding actions to fund the loan closing per instructions on the specified funding date, normally same day.
Verifies and performs payoff functions in accordance with the Fidelity Federal’s Policy and Procedures. Fidelity Federal Savings and Loan
Monitors cancelled insurance policies and initiates timely follow-up with internal parties.
Performs general maintenance of accounts including data input, related report ordering and review, preparation of appropriate forms, maintenance of transaction logs, wire and transfer processing, preparation of balances, and review of aged loans.
Must be proficient in all core processing platforms, i.e., LaserPro, Encompass, Sageworks, etc.
Assists with reports and audits in the evaluation of loan operations performance.  Coordinates all processing and funding activities with other banks participating in loan Relationships, including the secondary market.
Updates Loan Officers and realtors of loan status.
Manage all communication with lending officers and bank representatives and perform regular investigation to resolve all customer issues efficiently.
Ensures loans and processes meet compliance standards.
Analyze and identify all fee discrepancies in loan processes and perform regular audit on processes and ensure compliance to all requirements.
Safeguards all collateral while in the possession of the Bank.
Carries out responsibilities with professionalism and respect for others in accordance with Fidelity Federal’s policies and applicable laws.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience with residential, commercial and consumer loans
Knowledge of FHA/VA/USDA guidelines
Intermediate level with MS Office
Familiar with Laser Pro & Encompass
Familiar with DU (Desktop Underwriter or Originator)

o Bank Secrecy Act & Anti-Money Laundering o Community Reinvestment Act
o Americans with Disabilities Act
o Right to Financial Privacy Act
o Gramm-Leach Bliley

Act Performance Standards:

Ensures Loans are booked within 24 hours of loan closing
Required reports are provided to management and the Board on a timely basis.
Assistance is provided to loan officers as needed.
Loan Operations training is arranged for the Loan Department staff.
Computer problem resolutions are completed by set date.

Reasoning Ability/Organization Skills

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Must be able to work productively and independently with the ability to prioritize assignments and issues of significance.

Additional Skills/Preferred Not Required:

Ability to actively engage in conversations with clients and customers
Ability to present oneself as well as the company in a professional manner. Knowledge of all deposit, small business, and consumer loan products Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Training and Experience:

Minimum Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
Minimum Experience: 1 year.
Preferred Experience: 2 years, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Pay: $46,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
