Xactimate Estimator Restoration & Remodeling

In Person postion (not remote)

All Claims Repairs – 43 Years as a Trusted Leader in Restoration & Property Damage Solutions!

Serving Columbus Area I-70 Loop

We are seeking an experienced Xactimate Estimator to join our team . The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately estimating the cost of construction projects, including materials, labor, and equipment. The Estimator will work closely with Project, Operations and Construction managers as well as insurance companies to ensure that all estimates are accurate and complete

Key Responsibilities

Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits to develop the scope of work and required materials and equipment for customer projects.
Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for construction projects
Work with homeowners, insurance adjusters, agents and building officials
Contacts vendors & suppliers to obtain costs for job materials.
Collaborate with project managers to set project milestones and expectations.
Prepare and submit bids and proposals
Updates estimates as needed per job change order and customer request.
Ensure that all estimates comply with company policies and procedures
Work in an office environment.
May work in various elements of weather while on customer job sites.
Travel to job sites

Qualifications:

✔ Xactimate Estimate Writing a must

✔ 5+ years of experience in restoration & construction estimating

✔ IICRC Certification(s) preferred (WRT, ASD, FSRT, etc.)

✔ Strong knowledge of Dash job management software

✔ Solid skills in XactAnalysis, CoreLogic, Mica & Mitigate software

✔ Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and equipment in older and current building sites and material

✔ Excellent leadership, communication, mathematical and problem-solving skills

✔ Timely, dependable and highly organized

✔ Ability to work in high-pressure, fast-paced environments

✔ Valid drivers license & clean background check
