Full Job Description

Abbington of Arlington Assisted Living is currently hiring Resident Assistant's for 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift. Full-time and part-time positions available. Abbington of Arlington is a 44 unit assisted living facility locally owned and operated.

Duties:

- Provide direct support and care to residents in a home care setting
- Assist residents with daily activities such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, and medication management
- Drive residents to appointments and outings as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for residents
- Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive interactions and independence
- Collaborate with social workers and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans for residents
- Lift and transfer residents using proper lifting techniques and assistive devices

Skills:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong organizational skills to manage daily routines and documentation systems
- Compassionate and patient demeanor when working with individuals with diverse needs
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques and strategies
