Supportive Services Coordinator

Housing Services Alliance

Central Ohio

NOTE: This has been posted as "on the road" due to this position being about 75% travel.

About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Resident Resources Coordinator (Entry Level) to support residents living in affordable housing. This role helps individuals maintain independence, access essential resources, and build community within the property. It is ideal for candidates interested in social services, community engagement, or housing support.

Key Responsibilities

Connect residents with services and resources that support independent living.
Promote wellness activities, educational programs, and community-building events.
Educate residents on available supportive services and how to access them.
Assist residents in developing informal support networks among their neighbors.
Serve as a liaison between residents, community agencies, and service providers.
Maintain accurate documentation of resident interactions and referrals.
Support the property team with community outreach and resident engagement initiatives.

Qualifications

Interest or experience in social services, housing, or community-focused work (internship or volunteer experience welcomed).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to build trust and maintain confidentiality.
Compassion, patience, and a resident-centered approach.
Basic computer skills (email, data entry, documentation).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications (Not Required)

Coursework or background in social work, human services, psychology, public health, or related field.
Familiarity with local community resources and social service systems.

***This is a full-time position. Compensation and travel allowances will be discussed during the interview process.
