Full Job Description

Responsibilities:

Business Development

Research and identify prospective pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and healthcare organizations.
Build targeted prospect lists using Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or other sales tools.
Conduct outbound outreach through cold calls, email, and LinkedIn messaging.
Connect with key decision-makers, including Sales, Commercial, and Learning & Development leaders.
Qualify prospects and schedule meetings for the Business Development team.
Follow structured outreach campaigns and maintain consistent follow-up.
Stay informed on pharmaceutical industry trends, product launches, and commercial growth opportunities.
You will be held accountable to comply with all defined business processes and the utilization of all technology platforms, as defined by Aquinas.

Sales Operations & Administrative Support

Maintain accurate customer and prospect information in the CRM.
Coordinate meetings and manage calendars for the sales team.
Assist in preparing sales presentations, proposals, and follow-up communications.
Track outreach activity, pipeline metrics, and sales reports.
Maintain CRM data integrity and update sales opportunities.

Collaboration

Partner with sales leaders to generate qualified sales opportunities.
Work with Marketing on lead generation campaigns and follow-up initiatives.
Share customer feedback and market insights to improve outreach strategies.
Support continuous improvement of sales processes and business development efforts.

Requirements:

Take ownership of your Duty to Communicate all required and relevant information to necessary people, departments, and customers
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Healthcare, or a related field preferred.
0–2 years of experience in sales, recruiting, customer service, or business development.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Comfortable making outbound calls and engaging new prospects.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Salesforce, HubSpot, or another CRM.
Experience using Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or similar prospecting tools.
Previous cold calling or appointment-setting experience.
Interest in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or healthcare industry.
