Front End Manager / Part-Time Groomer

We are seeking a dependable, organized, and customer-focused Front End Manager / Part-Time Groomer to help oversee the day-to-day front desk operations of our dog grooming business while also providing grooming services as needed. This role is responsible for keeping the front end running smoothly, ensuring accuracy in scheduling and client records, and stepping in to help with grooming and coverage when needed. We are a small family business looking for someone with compassion and patience. We have an amazing team with long standing groomers who care and do things the right way. This job will guarantee $150-$200 a day depending on experience and in addition you will receive commission and 100% of your tips on dogs groomed and walk in nail trims. Potential for $300-$400 a day in earnings! This job will consist of working up front for the first 2 hours, grooming 1-2 dogs mid morning and then finishing the afternoon managing and assisting up front. 8am-4pm is the ideal hours Tuesday-Saturday. This Job is perfect for experienced groomers with patience and kindness looking to groom less but still make a positive impact for clients and there fur babies.

Responsibilities

Manage front desk operations and ensure excellent client service.
Show kindness and compassion to clients and dogs!
Schedule appointments and maintain an organized, efficient calendar.
Verify pricing, client information, and appointment details for accuracy.
Handle client check-in and check-out, phone calls, and walk-in nail trims.
Assist with grooming services during the day as needed.
Step in to cover gaps when there are call-offs or staffing shortages.
Help maintain a professional, clean, and well-run salon environment.
Communicate effectively with clients and staff to keep daily operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

Prior dog grooming and/or salon front desk management experience preferred.
Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills.
Ability to multitask and stay calm in a fast-paced environment.
Detail-oriented and accurate with scheduling and client records.
Reliable, flexible, and willing to step into multiple roles.
Comfortable working with both pets and people.

Pay: $200.00 - $400.00 per day
