LPN Unit Manager

Feridean Commons is seeking an experienced and compassionate LPN Unit Manager to join our clinical leadership team and help us continue delivering exceptional care to our residents.

This is an exciting opportunity to join an independently owned, well-established Assisted Living community with an outstanding reputation in the Westerville area. With our community approaching 100% occupancy, we are looking for a dedicated nurse who is passionate about resident care, team leadership, and making a meaningful impact every day.

You'll become part of a strong and stable leadership team, led by an Executive Director who has successfully served the community for more than four years. Together, our team is committed to creating an exceptional experience for residents, families, and staff.

Position Summary

The LPN Unit Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day clinical operations of the nursing unit while ensuring residents receive the highest quality of care. This individual will work closely with caregivers, medication aides, providers, residents, and families to promote a safe, compassionate, and resident-centered environment.

Responsibilities

Provide daily clinical oversight of the nursing unit.
Supervise and support caregivers and medication aides.
Perform resident assessments and monitor changes in condition.
Coordinate resident care with physicians, pharmacies, therapy providers, hospice, and other healthcare professionals.
Communicate regularly with residents and families regarding care needs.
Assist with admissions, move-ins, service plans, and resident care conferences.
Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Promote compliance with Ohio Assisted Living regulations and community policies.
Foster a positive, team-oriented culture focused on quality care and excellent customer service.
Participate in the community's on-call rotation.

Qualifications

Current Ohio LPN license in good standing.
Previous experience in Assisted Living, Long-Term Care, Skilled Nursing, or Senior Living preferred.
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Excellent clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities.
Passion for serving older adults with dignity, compassion, and respect.
Ability to work collaboratively with residents, families, and team members.
Must be available to participate in an on-call rotation.
