In this role, you won't just punch in numbers—you will be the backbone of our financial integrity. You will work closely with internal teams, sharpen your GAAP expertise, and directly support our month-end operations and process improvements. What You’ll Do (Essential Duties)As our Staff Accountant, you will oversee day-to-day accounting activities to ensure flawless financial records. Your main responsibilities include:

Financial Integrity: Record and maintain general ledger transactions, verify data accuracy, and maintain bulletproof supporting documentation.
Reconciliations & Tracking: Manage bank accounts, credit card transactions, payroll entries, expense tracking, and balance sheet reconciliations.
Month-End Close: Play a vital role in the month-end closing process by preparing timely journal entries and identifying/resolving discrepancies.
Compliance & Tax: Assist with sales tax filings, ensure strict adherence to GAAP and company policies, and prepare schedules to support audit processes.
Collaboration: Work hand-in-hand with various departments to streamline financial operations and support efficiency initiatives.

What Success Looks Like (Key Metrics)

High accuracy in journal entries and reconciliations (completing tasks with minimal review corrections).
Meeting strict deadlines for assigned tasks and month-end close schedules.
Proactively reducing financial discrepancies and errors.

What We’re Looking For

Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Experience: 1–3 years of accounting experience is preferred.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and standard accounting software, alongside a solid foundational knowledge of GAAP principles.
Core Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, sharp problem-solving abilities, great time management, and clear verbal/written communication.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

Physical Requirements: Ability to sit, stand, bend, and use standard office equipment continuously throughout an 8-hour shift.
Travel: Minimal travel required (0–10%), depending on business needs.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
