Full Job Description

Pride Health is hiring a Travel OR Surgical Technologist to support our client’s medical facility in Columbus, OH. This is a 13-week assignment (Possibility of extension or conversion) opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!  

Job Summary:

Prepare operating rooms by sterilizing instruments, arranging supplies, and ensuring all equipment is functional and ready for procedures
Assist surgeons and nursing staff during surgeries by passing instruments, managing surgical tools, and maintaining a sterile environment
Monitor patient vital signs and physiological data throughout procedures to support anesthesia and surgical teams
Maintain accurate medical records related to surgical procedures, including documentation of instruments used and intraoperative observations

Requirements:  

Minimum 3 years of Surgical Tech experience

Travel experience preferred

Level I Trauma experience required

BLS

Experience in:

Neurosurgery
Spine Surgery
Complex Orthopedic/Ortho Spine
Complex General Surgery (including Bariatric)

Preferred Experience

ENT
GU
Plastics
Burns
Robotics
Transplant
Epic experience preferred

Certifications

BLS (Required)

Call Requirement

Mandatory call
Mon–Fri: 9:00 PM – 6:30 AM
Saturday/Sunday: 6:30 AM–7:00 PM or 7:00 PM–6:30 AM

Additional Information:  

Location: Columbus, OH
Job Type: 13 Weeks Contract
Shifts: 40 hrs./week, Days
Weekly Gross Range: $2200 to $2425

*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
