Full Job Description

PlayFast makes a sensor and an iOS app that measure how hard and how fast a lacrosse player trains. The sensor mounts on the stick, talks to the phone over Bluetooth, and turns every rep into real numbers like stick speed, shot count, and training load. We have a working sensor, a live app, and beta is weeks away. We are launching this summer and raising to fund our first production run.

We are hiring one strong iOS engineer who also thinks like a product builder to help us get to beta and learn fast from real users.

What you will do

Own and polish our iOS app in Swift and SwiftUI so it is reliable and beta ready, including a clean Bluetooth connection to the sensor and solid data sync.
Set up our analytics and experiments with PostHog so we can see how users actually move through the app, put features behind flags, and run simple A/B tests.
Extend our web coach dashboard in Next.js and TypeScript so coaches and players can see their training data.
Help decide what to build next as beta feedback comes in.

What we are looking for

You have shipped a real iOS app you can show us, ideally Swift and SwiftUI.
You can own web frontend work too, in Next.js, TypeScript, and React.
A product brain: you have shipped a feature, watched how people used it, and changed something because of it.
You like early stage ambiguity and owning things end to end.

Nice to have: Bluetooth/CoreBluetooth, PostHog/Amplitude/Mixpanel + A/B testing, sports tech or wearables.

The details: Sprint up front (30 to 40 hrs/week for 6 to 8 weeks), then lighter ongoing (8 to 12 hrs/week). Columbus is a strong plus. Real path to a full time lead role as we close our raise. Standard IP assignment agreement.
