Job Title:Temporary Sales AssistantDepartment:Student Life | Dining ServicesThe Sales Assistant supports the dining operation serving students, staff and guests of The Ohio State University; greets and serves customers; prepares and handles food and beverage; collects payment by credit or Buck ID, prepares; takes daily inventory; stocks shelves, freezers, and coolers; maintains a clean and sanitary service and work area; position makes decisions based on established policies and procedures under the direction of the supervisor.This is a temporary staff position that is not to exceed 6 months.MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:High School diploma or GED. 0 years of relevant experience required.Additional Information:Starting pay rate is $17.00/hr.Office of Student Life Mission Statement:The Office of Student Life fosters students’ development, learning, well-being and sense of belonging; empowers students to achieve their academic, personal and professional goals; and prepares students to be engaged in a global society.
