Full Job Description

Golf Simulator Installation Specialist

We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Golf Simulator Installation Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing premium golf simulator systems in residential homes, commercial facilities, golf clubs, entertainment venues, and training centers. You will work with simulator technology, impact screens, enclosures, projectors, turf systems, hitting mats, and related components to create exceptional customer experiences.

This is a hands-on position that combines construction, technology installation, and customer interaction. The ideal candidate enjoys problem-solving, takes pride in quality craftsmanship, and is comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.

Travel is required for installations. While not every week involves travel, candidates should be comfortable with periodic overnight and multi-day trips throughout the year to support projects across various locations (OH, KY, PA)

Responsibilities

Install golf simulator systems, including enclosures, impact screens, projector mounts, launch monitors, turf, flooring, hitting mats, and related accessories.
Read and interpret installation plans, measurements, and project specifications to ensure accurate setup and alignment.
Assemble and mount simulator components safely and efficiently.
Perform basic carpentry, finishing work, and construction modifications as needed to support installations.
Coordinate with project managers, customers, and subcontractors to ensure projects are completed on schedule.
Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues in the field.
Conduct quality checks and system testing to ensure all equipment functions properly before project completion.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site.
Provide customers with a professional walkthrough of the completed system and basic operating instructions.
Travel to installation sites as needed, including occasional overnight stays.

Requirements

Experience in construction, carpentry, installation, remodeling, AV installation, or a related field.
Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, and other installation equipment.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and installation specifications.
Experience with framing, trim work, flooring, or finish carpentry is preferred.
Basic knowledge of electrical, networking, or audiovisual systems is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to lift and move equipment weighing up to 75 pounds.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Willingness to travel for installations, including occasional overnight travel.
