Work Environment: This role involves working in various industrial settings.

Reporting Structure: Reports directly to Industrial Manager

Primary Duties/Responsibilities:

- Inspecting HVAC systems and their components to evaluate condition, identify necessary repairs

and recommend preventative maintenance.

- Diagnosing and repairing faults in HVAC systems and their components

- Installing new HVAC systems and equipment in accordance with safety regulations and

manufacturer specifications.

- Performing routine preventative maintenance to ensure that HVAC systems operate efficiently.

- Documenting services and repairs completed and maintaining customer records

- Ordering and maintaining inventory of HVAC supplies and equipment.

- Ensuring compliance with EPA standards when handling refrigerants.

Personal Skills:

- Communicate effectively with customers and other co-workers any ideas, explanations, or

problems.

- Be open to train, instruct, or oversee newer employees.

- Attend classes and training seminars.

- Have excellent written skills to write-up work orders.

- Possess the ability to follow through with pending work orders.

- Maintain professional dress and attitude at all times.

- Be available for on-call; to run after hour's service calls as needed.

- Complete duties that are assigned by supervisors or managers.

Other Required Qualifications:

- Proven work experience as an HVAC technician, preferably in an industrial environment.

- Thorough knowledge of HVAC systems and their components.

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

- Strong problem-solving and communication skills

- Knowledge of safety standards and procedures

- Must have Universal EPA certification

- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces

- High school diploma or equivalent. Technical or trade school certification is a plus.

Pay: $24.00 - $36.00 per hour
