Full Job Description

Who We Are

Our extensive range of services include direct hire, forklift certification/validation, temp to hire placements, gig work solutions and innovative labor strategies, to attract, retain and elevate the industrial workforce.

Position Summary

The Ignite Payroll/HR Administrator collaborates with the Ignite leaders and appropriate representatives at all clients. Manages all aspects of payroll, and hourly temporary employee relations, administers FMLA, unemployment, and workers’ compensation, in accordance with HR policies, state, local and federal laws. This position acts as a liaison between associates and third-party vendors and is responsible for reviewing and responding within pre-determined time limits.

Classification: Full Time, Exempt

Reports To: Accounting Supervisor

Supervises: No direct reports

Department: Corporate

Travel Required: As needed

Essential Responsibilities

Temporary Payroll

· Process all aspects of hourly temporary payroll (including garnishments)

· Import/pull all client payroll

· Complete all MSP/VMS partner payroll by Tuesday deadline

Workers’ Compensation

· Partner with the third-party Workers’ Compensation Administrator.

· Partner with Risk Management, all appropriate representatives at client sites, as well as Ignite Leadership to administer all necessary steps to process claims effectively and in a timely manner.

· Maintains continuous communication with associates regarding injury claims.

· Provide reporting on lost time, return to work days and other necessary data.

· Demonstrate knowledge of BWC claims process and provide input for improvement.

Complete and submit annual payroll true up report

Unemployment

· Partner with the third-party Unemployment Administrator.

· Process and administer unemployment claims.

· Validate eligibility and accuracy of claims.

· File written appeals to 3rd party Administrator.

FMLA

· Administers and tracks FMLA as required by federal and state requirements

· Communicate with Ignite team and site leaders the status of associates’ leave.

Reporting

· Partner with third-party administrator on all federal and state compliance reports including new hire, EEO, W-2, and quarterly tax filing for temporary employees

· Manages multiple internal reports tracking headcount, turnover, and all others as requested.

· Partner with third-party administrator for annual ACA notification process for 1094 & 1095 form submissions

Manages multiple reports/spreadsheets

Additional Essential Functions:

· Manages personnel records in temporary employee database as needed.

· Maintains good relationships with all candidates/associates, Leadership, Employees, Colleagues and Clients.

· Promotes the organizational values of Respect, Integrity, Perseverance, Serve and the operating philosophy of Safety Customers Operations People Execution (SCOPE).

· Demonstrates safety consciousness at all times and reports safety questions/concerns.

· Any and all other duties as assigned by VP/President

Minimum Qualifications

Education & Experience

· 2 + years of experience in processing large volume payroll. Experience in UKG preferred.

· 2 + years of Human Resources experience with processing FMLA, worker’s compensation, unemployment and employee relations preferred.

· Bachelor’s degree preferred, preferably in Business, Human Resources or related fields.
