Purpose of Position/Summary:
The Junior Power Platform Developer will be a part of a team that solves business needs by creating internal applications, automated workflows, and dashboards using Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, Power BI, and other tools.
This is an on-site, full-time position based in Franklin, Indiana.
Skills Required:
- Development: Experience with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse) or equivalent development stack.
- Data architecture and management: Understanding of scalable data models, table relationships, business rules, and governance frameworks
- Integration: Working knowledge of JSON, REST APIs, and integration patterns to connect Power Platform solutions with external systems
- Soft skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, stakeholder management, critical thinking, and root cause analysis capabilities. Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
Educational Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field is preferred. Equivalent professional experience and demonstrated expertise in development and architecture will be considered.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Work with Business Solutions team to create custom applications, automated workflows, and interactive dashboards using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, PowerBI) that integrate with other internal business systems (such as ERP and MES systems) when possible
- Analyze current business processes, identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement
- Create and maintain documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), training materials, and governance for both processes and solutions
- Facilitate collaboration across departments to gather requirements and align internal stakeholders on process and technology changes
- Design and implement streamlined enterprise-scale processes
- Design and manage data architecture within Microsoft Dataverse, ensuring proper data modeling, relationships, security, and governance to support scalable solutions and analytics
- Monitor solution performance, troubleshoot issues, and look for areas of continuous improvement
- Track and report on project outcomes, including cost savings, time reductions, quality improvements, and ROI
- Support the launch of a Power Platform Center of Excellence and drive the adoption of citizen development by establishing governance, best practices, training programs, and support frameworks for users
Supervisory Responsibilities/Direct Reports:
This position does not have any subordinate associates reporting to it.
Difficulty of Work:
The ability to adapt to constantly changing situations is a must. Working odd hours to make sure a project deadline is met may be required. Rare weekend or holiday work may be required.

This position is not labor intensive but require the ability to lift and carry some IT equipment that could weigh as much as 20lbs with or without reasonable accommodations. Most work will be in an office environment and will require the ability to sit/stand/walk for long periods of time with or without reasonable accommodations.

Working conditions will be mostly in an office environment but there are times when work on the manufacturing environment is necessary. Special attention to work environment and areas surrounding the equipment is critical. Normal PPE is required to be worn when working in the manufacturing environment, such as safety shoes, glasses, and ear protection.

The Business Solutions Specialist will be a part of the Information Technology department. This position will be responsible for supporting our business solutions team and other IT members in moving the company forward using M365 tool kit.

Job Requirements:
Bachelor of Computer Science or equivalent in a related field from an accredited organization is required. Four years of relevant experience can substitute for college degree. Proven ability and desire to meet deadlines. Working effectively with minimal supervision in a team environment. Good analytical and problem solving skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Motivated, hardworking and ability to work flexible hours.
