Nassau & Suffolk Counties, NY

As we continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced and driven Talent Acquisition Specialist to help recruit and hire outstanding caregivers and nurses who share our commitment to excellence.

What You'll Do

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you'll oversee the full recruitment process while helping build a strong pipeline of qualified caregivers and nurses.

Responsibilities include:

Recruit, source, and hire Home Health Aides (HHAs), LPNs, and RNs.
Create, post, and manage job advertisements across multiple recruiting platforms.
Conduct phone screens and interviews to identify top candidates.
Guide candidates through the onboarding process and collect all required hiring documentation.
Ensure all new hires meet New York State compliance requirements and Affirmed Home Care policies.
Build relationships within the community by attending job fairs, networking events, and visiting schools on a regular basis.
Participate in new hire orientations and provide a welcoming onboarding experience.
Promote employee referral programs and support ongoing recruiting initiatives.
Consistently achieve weekly hiring goals by delivering qualified, onboarding-ready candidates.

Qualifications

We're looking for someone who has:

Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of recruiting experience in home care or healthcare staffing.
Experience recruiting HHAs, LPNs, and Registered Nurses.
Strong sourcing skills using job boards, social media, and community outreach.
Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
Experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) is preferred.
Authorization to work in the United States.
