Our growing team of dedicated and experienced Registered Dietitian Nutritionists (RDNs) and Certified Diabetes Educators (CDEs) are committed to culturally relevant, weight-inclusive, personalized, tech-forward, and financially accessible care.

Diabetes Digital Corp · Remote · Part-Time

$45–$53/hour · Starting rate at $50/per client session effective September, ~24 hrs/week

Don't enjoy working from home — this is a fully remote, screen-based role, and there's no office or in-person client contact to break up the day
Find back-to-back counseling sessions draining rather than energizing — most of your week is spent in 50-minute 1:1 conversations, not admin or varied tasks
Prefer independent, low-supervision work over regular check-ins and feedback

What a Typical Week Looks Like

~24 hours/week total: up to 29 client sessions (50 minutes each) + 3 paid administrative hours
Consistent schedule week to week; unpaid meal break on full-day schedules
Flexible scheduling available (evenings/weekends optional, not required)
Up to 8 sessions in a day
AI-assisted note-taking built into your workflow to free up admin time for care coordination
Extensive library of note templates and handouts to streamline sessions
1 required team meeting/week: Mondays, 1pm PST / 4pm EST

Key Responsibilities

Provide 1:1 virtual nutrition counseling to clients with diabetes, prediabetes, PCOS, and metabolic conditions
Support behavior change through motivational interviewing
Conduct telehealth visits (phone/video/chat)
Complete assessments, follow-up notes, and documentation on time
Collaborate with healthcare providers to coordinate patient care
Attend weekly supervision meetings and team huddles
Handle billing and scheduling tasks accurately

A clear pathway to advanced clinical lead roles

Annual Team Trip — Last year: Palm Springs. This year: Mexico. We invest in a team that genuinely likes each other.

Licensure Support — Up to $1,000/year toward state licensure fees

Tech Stipend — $400/year after 6 months

Time Off — Paid sick time (1 hr per 30 hrs worked, paid at clinical rate), 8 paid holidays (paid at $25/hr for scheduled hours)

Retirement — 401(k)/Roth IRA access via Guideline (employer match planned for 2027)

Required Qualifications

1–3 years of outpatient counseling experience (diabetes MNT preferred)
Familiarity or willingness to learn HAES and Intuitive Eating approaches
Strong commitment to social justice and supporting marginalized clients
Adaptable, organized, and open to learning new systems
Active RD Registration by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
CDCES credential (a plus!)
