As an Insulation Installer / Weatherization Technician, you will work alongside crew members to install insulation systems, perform air sealing, and complete weatherization improvements in residential and commercial properties. Every day brings a new project and the opportunity to make homes safer, more comfortable, and more energy efficient.
Key Responsibilities
- Install various insulation products
- Perform air sealing, weather-stripping, caulking, and foam applications
- Work in attics, basements, crawl spaces, walls, and ceilings
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment safely
- Operate power tools and hand tools
- Set up and work safely on ladders, scaffolding, and elevated work areas
- Maintain clean, organized trucks, trailers, and job sites
- Follow all OSHA, DOT, company safety standards, and local building codes
- Communicate professionally with homeowners, contractors, and team members
- Assist with additional weatherization and basic construction tasks such as:
- Ventilation installation
- Minor carpentry
- Siding removal/replacement
- Drywall repairs
- Window and door sealing
- Support crew leaders and help complete projects efficiently and on schedule
Qualifications
Preferred Experience
- 1–3+ years of insulation, weatherization, construction, or related trade experience preferred
- Experience with insulation or air sealing is a plus
- Experience working in residential construction or energy efficiency programs is beneficial
Required Skills & Abilities
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly
- Comfortable climbing ladders and working in attics, crawl spaces, and confined spaces
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely (tools provided)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred, ability to commute to Concord, NH required
Certifications (Preferred but Not Required)
- OSHA 10/30
- EPA Lead-Safe / RRP Certification
- BPI Certification
- DOT Medical Card
Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
