Sales Execution Team & Operations Coordinator - Peoria, IL

Our mission is to help people discover and achieve What’s Possible in life. That mission applies to our clients, our Financial Advisors, as well as the team that supports them. As our Sales Execution Team Member and Peoria Front Desk Operations Coordinator, you will be a member of that support team, an ambassador of our culture, and provide key support to our Financial Advisors in the first five years of their careers. This role offers the opportunity for advancement after a minimum of 18 months of service, contingent upon performance and development.

The primary duties of your role are outlined below. We will provide a combination of online learning, self-study, shadowing, and one-on-one training to ensure you are well-prepared to support the culture and growth of our Peoria office, and Bloomington if needed. The summary below is an overview and is subject to change based on our firm’s goals.

Role & Responsibility

The Sales Execution Team (SET) provides services that allow representatives in years 1 – 5 to focus on building an integrated financial security practice. The ultimate goal is to increase productivity early in the careers of new representatives, increasing retention and the size of the field force, and thus enhancing future recruiting. SET reduces the time new representatives spend on administrative tasks and increases the time they spend on activities directly related to client building.
Our Operations Coordinator is the owner of the reception desk and serves as the primary contact for clients and policy owners and assists with operations and marketing work as needed. It is the first line of contact and vital to the energy and professionalism of the office. In this role you are a champion of the company and the clients.

Hours will be 8am-5pm in office. You will also support, as needed, the Operations Coordinator in the Bloomington office. Salary range: $42,000-$52,000

RESPONSIBILITIES, include but will not be limited to:

SET Team Member

Report to our Director of New Rep Development.
Conduct weekly one-on-one meetings with all Financial Representatives supported.
Keep a daily updated underwriting log for each advisor to which you are assigned.
Participate in development team meetings to disseminate and gather information for the betterment of the reps and the office.
Input information into our Client Relationship Management system.
Manage the underwriting process which includes collective and providing requested documentation and collaborating with prospective clients, advisors and Home Office.
Upon policy approval, update underwriting spreadsheet and make FR aware policy ready for delivery.
Answer basic policy owner/policy benefit questions.
Complete Policy Owner Services (POS) requested by advisors.

Operations Coordinator

Front desk reception – open and close the office daily.
Greet colleagues and visitors and make them feel welcome.
Process, log, and deposit incoming mail/checks; deliver necessary mail to FedEx.
Assist full time and college Financial Representatives with onboarding and general Q&A.
Coordinate office meetings and luncheons.
Keep reception, kitchen, and common office areas safe, clean, and organized.
Maintain inventory and order office supplies as needed.
Answer the office telephone and transfer calls to the appropriate party.
Perform office duties such as data entry, copying, scanning, and distribution of documents.
Complete and/or assist with projects as assigned by the Office Manager.

Qualifications

The Sales Execution Team Member & Operations Coordinator candidate must have the following qualifications:

IL Life and Health Producer Licenses, or agreement to obtain within the first month
Basic computer and Microsoft Office experience
Customer service experience
Ability to manage detailed work with high degree of accuracy
Excellent people skills
Experience in problem-solving
Elevated level of organizational skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Professional office skills
Ability to maintain highest level of confidentiality and work with confidential material
Ability to take independent action to make sound decisions

Pay: $42,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
