Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Billing & Account Collections Clerk to join our high energy fast paced team. In this vital role, you will manage the billing processes, ensure accurate account receivables, and facilitate effective collections to support the company's financial health. Your experience in basic accounting principles, customer service, and collections management will drive smooth financial operations and foster positive client relationships. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your accounting skills within a collaborative and growth-focused environment.

Duties

Prepare and process customer invoices using QuickBooks.
Monitor accounts receivable aging reports to identify overdue accounts and initiate collection efforts promptly.
Manage collections accounts through phone calls, emails, and written correspondence while maintaining professional client communication.
Support month-end closing processes by preparing reports.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries related to billing issues or account status with professionalism and clarity.
Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles
Experience in QuickBooks billing software is highly desirable.
Experience managing collections accounts with effective client communication skills via phone etiquette and telemarketing techniques.
Ability to perform data entry accurately using 10-key typing skills while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent organizational skills.
Strong understanding of financial concepts such as debits & credits bookkeeping.
Effective phone etiquette for engaging with clients professionally during collection calls or inquiries related to billing issues.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel.
Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
