Since 1976, Breedlove & Co., P.C., a dynamic, full-service public accounting firm located in Spring, TX, has provided a wide range of tax, accounting, financial statement and business advisory services to a diverse roster of clients including privately held businesses, high net worth individuals, non-profit organizations and government entities.

Due to continued growth, we are currently seeking an energetic, dedicated self-starter with 3+ years of recent public accounting experience to lead tax, audit and accounting engagements and help drive the growth of the firm. Working directly with clients and senior leadership, you will perform a broad range of services including:

Prepare, analyze and audit financial statements
Complete and assist with audit engagements
Prepare individual, business, and non-profit tax returns
Lead engagements in all phases of accounting including tax planning and research, payroll and business consulting
Establish and cultivate professional client relationships

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
CPA license, CPA candidate or EA designation
3+ years of public accounting experience progressing in scope and responsibility
Range of experience including audit, tax preparation, accounting and business advisory and consulting
Knowledge of GAAP and GAAS, accounting principles, practices, and financial reporting
Detail-oriented with strong communication, analytical, organizational, client service, technical and PC skills including MS Office and QuickBooks software proficiency
Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, work independently as well as within teams and manage professional client relationships
