Key Responsibilities
The Clinical Operations EMR Consultant may assist with:

- Collaborating with client leadership, clinical teams, and Maxwell TEC team members to recommend practical solutions.
- Supporting implementation, training, testing, and adoption of EMR-related process changes.
- Assisting with audits, workflow reviews, and operational assessments.
- Translating clinical and operational needs into clear recommendations for improved efficiency, accuracy, compliance, and user adoption.

- Hands-on operational experience in home health and/or hospice.
- Strong understanding of clinical workflows, documentation requirements, and care-at-home operations.
- Experience working directly within operational processes, not solely in a strategic or advisory capacity.
- Ability to evaluate workflows, identify inefficiencies, and recommend actionable improvements.
- Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently while coordinating effectively with internal and client teams.
PREFERRED
- OASIS certification preferred.
- Experience supporting EMR implementations, optimizations, conversions, or workflow redesign.
- Prior consulting or project-based experience.
- Experience working with interdisciplinary teams across clinical, compliance, quality, and operations.
- Familiarity with home health and hospice regulatory and documentation requirements.
Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is a home health or hospice clinical operator with strong EMR expertise and practical operational experience. This person understands the day-to-day realities of care-at-home operations and can help client teams improve workflows, documentation, system adoption, and overall operational efficiency.
