About UtiliSave
Join a team that has delivered over $700 million in refunds and savings to clients—and help us reach $1 billion. For over three decades, UtiliSave has been a leader in utility bill auditing and cost recovery. We’re a fully remote team of approximately 35 professionals, and we’re in the middle of a significant technology transformation—modernizing our CRM on Microsoft Dynamics 365, rolling out AI-powered auditing tools on AWS, and expanding our Microsoft 365 platform capabilities across the organization.
About the Role
This is a ground-floor opportunity to join a company actively reinventing how it operates. As our IT & Systems Support Specialist, you won’t just keep the lights on—you’ll help shape the platforms our team depends on every day. You’ll work directly with our Software Development Manager and sit at the intersection of IT support, Microsoft 365 administration, Dynamics 365 CRM, and low-code application development.
This is not a pure helpdesk role and not a pure developer role. It’s for someone who thrives on variety, takes ownership, and is excited to build real solutions using Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, and Dynamics 365 alongside the day-to-day operational work that keeps a growing remote team running. If you’re looking to grow your skills alongside a technology stack that includes AI, modern cloud platforms, and Microsoft’s Power Platform—this is the right seat.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary point of contact for internal IT support across our fully remote team—triaging and resolving issues related to Microsoft 365, Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), and business applications.
- Administer and maintain Microsoft 365—including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and Entra ID—supporting license management, security, and user lifecycle operations.
- Design and build low-code solutions using Power Automate and Power Apps to automate business processes, reduce manual work, and support operational efficiency across departments.
- Support day-to-day administration of our Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM environment—managing user access, configuration changes, data quality, and internal support requests post go-live.
- Build and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards that surface operational and business insights for leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Use Jira to track, manage, and report on IT and platform support work, contributing to consistent task visibility across the team.
- Coordinate with managed service providers and cloud vendors, and maintain IT documentation, runbooks, and onboarding and offboarding procedures.
- Collaborate with developers, auditors, and leadership to translate business needs into practical platform solutions—contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and smart automation.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in an IT support, systems administration, or technical operations role.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 administration—Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, Entra ID.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver low-code solutions using Power Automate, Power Apps, and/or Power BI in a business environment.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar CRM platforms—administration, configuration, or end-user support.
- Working experience with Jira or a comparable work-tracking platform.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical colleagues.
- Self-starter mentality—comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment and owning problems through to resolution.
- Experience with Azure Virtual Desktop or similar cloud desktop environments is a plus.
- Microsoft certifications (MS-900, PL-200, MD-102, or equivalent) are a plus but not required.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required—equivalent hands-on experience accepted.

- Competitive base salary: $65,000 – $75,000 based on experience, plus performance-based bonus.
- Comprehensive benefits including health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with company match.
