Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Occasional Saturdays)

Are you an experienced automotive accounting professional looking for a stable, fast-paced environment? East Coast Honda Volkswagen is seeking an organized, detail-driven Accounts Payable & Receivable (AP/AR) Clerk to join our busy business office.

In a high-volume dealership group, accuracy and speed are everything. If you know how to reconcile schedules, manage vendor accounts, and keep the business office running smoothly, we want you on our team.

Position Requirements (Non-Negotiable)

Dealership Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience working in an automotive dealership accounting office (REQUIRED).
AP/AR Expertise: Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience managing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable balances (REQUIRED).
Systems Proficiency: Experience with DMS platforms (e.g., CDK, Dealertrack, Reynolds & Reynolds) and Microsoft Excel.
Analytical Mindset: High attention to detail with proven ability to reconcile schedules, track down discrepancies, and maintain clean ledgers.
Clean Record: Valid Driver’s License; must pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts Payable: Code, post, and reconcile vendor invoices, statements, and factory payables in a timely manner.
Accounts Receivable: Process customer payments, post daily receipts, track outstanding contracts/CITs, and follow up on collection accounts.
Schedule Maintenance: Audit and maintain clean accounting schedules on a daily and weekly basis.
Dealership Collaboration: Communicate effectively with Sales Managers, Service Advisors, and vendor representatives to resolve billing questions.
Office Support: Assist the Office Manager with general administrative and month-end closing tasks as assigned.
