This position is responsible for handling incoming and outgoing mail, maintaining accurate records, and supporting general office activities to facilitate effective communication and workflow. The role requires attention to detail and organizational skills to manage data entry and document processing accurately. The Administrative Clerk serves as a key point of contact for answering phones and assisting with general inquiries, contributing to a positive and professional office environment. Ultimately, this position supports the broader administrative team by providing reliable clerical assistance that helps maintain operational efficiency across departments.

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Proficiency in basic typing and data entry.
Experience with general clerical duties and office equipment operation.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally over the phone and in person.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in an administrative or clerical role.
Familiarity with records management systems.
Basic knowledge of office software such as Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities:

Process and distribute incoming mail and prepare outgoing mail in a timely manner.
Operate office equipment such as copy machines and fax machines to support document handling.
Maintain and update records and files to ensure accurate and accessible information management.
Answer and direct phone calls professionally, providing information or routing calls as appropriate.
Perform data entry tasks with accuracy to support administrative reporting and documentation.
Assist with general clerical duties including photocopying, scanning, and organizing office supplies.
Support other administrative staff with various tasks to ensure smooth office operations.
Ordering office supplies.
Assisting with Human Resource duties as assigned.
