Overview

Join Ramco Insurance as a Licensed Insurance Sales Agent and become part of an established, family oriented agency with a strong history of serving individuals, families, and businesses throughout South Florida.

This is a sales focused position for motivated insurance professionals who want to build meaningful client relationships, increase their production, and grow within both Personal and Commercial Lines.

You will manage inbound and outbound sales opportunities, assess client needs, prepare and present insurance quotes, explain coverage options, and guide clients through the purchasing process. With access to multiple carriers and insurance markets, you will be able to offer clients a broader range of solutions while continuing to expand your own knowledge and experience.

This opportunity is ideal for someone who is confident on the phone, consistent with follow up, comfortable asking for the business, and motivated by both professional growth and income potential.

Successful agents will have the opportunity to strengthen their insurance knowledge, develop into Commercial Lines production, and take on greater responsibility as the agency continues to expand.

Responsibilities

Respond promptly and professionally to inbound calls, referrals, online inquiries, and new insurance opportunities
Conduct outbound calls and maintain consistent follow up through phone, text, and email
Build trust with prospective and existing clients through friendly, knowledgeable, and professional communication
Assess each client’s insurance needs, risk exposure, budget, and coverage priorities
Gather complete and accurate information required to prepare insurance quotes
Quote, present, and sell Personal and Commercial Lines insurance products
Explain coverage limits, deductibles, exclusions, discounts, payment options, and policy terms clearly
Help clients compare available insurance options and make informed coverage decisions
Address questions and overcome reasonable objections with patience and professionalism
Confidently ask for the business and guide clients through the application and purchasing process
Identify cross selling opportunities within new and existing client accounts
Build long term relationships that support retention, referrals, and account growth
Maintain accurate client information, notes, documents, and follow up activity within agency management and CRM systems
Manage multiple active opportunities at different stages of the sales process
Meet individual activity, sales, and production expectations
Participate in ongoing sales coaching, insurance training, and professional development
Stay informed about carrier guidelines, insurance market changes, product updates, and applicable regulations
Collaborate with agency leadership and team members to resolve coverage questions and support more complex insurance risks
Represent Ramco Insurance professionally during networking events, community outreach, and business development opportunities when needed

Requirements

Active Florida 440 or 220 insurance license in good standing is required
Professional fluency in English and Spanish is required
Previous insurance sales, customer service, telemarketing, or related sales experience is preferred
Knowledge of Personal Lines products, including Personal Auto, Homeowners, Renters, Condominium, and Flood Insurance, is preferred
Experience with Commercial Lines products, including General Liability, Commercial Auto, Workers’ Compensation, Business Owners Policies, and Commercial Property, is a plus
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship building skills
Friendly, professional, and comfortable speaking with clients from different backgrounds
Comfortable making and receiving a high volume of phone calls
Confident discussing pricing, presenting coverage options, handling objections, and asking clients for the sale
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to manage multiple prospects, quotes, and follow up tasks at once
Dependable, accountable, professional, and attentive to detail
Motivated by goals, production, career growth, and earning potential
Receptive to coaching, feedback, and continued professional development
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, agency management systems, CRM platforms, and insurance quoting technology is preferred
Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, performance focused office environment
Availability to work full time and in person at our Miami office

Agents who demonstrate strong performance, professionalism, consistency, and leadership ability may have the opportunity to advance into Commercial Lines, senior production, training, account development, or leadership responsibilities.

This position offers performance based earning potential ranging from $95,000 to $300,000 annually. Individual compensation depends on experience, production, consistency, and sales results.

The highest earnings are intended for experienced and consistently high producing agents and are not guaranteed. The complete compensation structure and production expectations will be reviewed during the interview.
