Lead Line Cook

2G Brothers Pizza – Morgantown, WV

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15-$18 Based on experience

About Us

2G Brothers Pizza is a growing, family-owned New York-style pizzeria built on quality ingredients, consistency, and teamwork. We're looking for an experienced Lead Line Cook who takes pride in their work, thrives in a fast-paced kitchen, and can help lead by example.

Responsibilities

Prepare menu items according to established recipes and quality standards
Ensure food is cooked and plated consistently to menu specifications
Complete daily food prep efficiently and accurately
Follow proper food safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures
Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked kitchen throughout each shift
Properly rotate, label, and store all inventory using FIFO procedures
Manage ticket flow and prioritize orders during busy service periods
Assist with inventory control and communicate product needs
Help train and support other kitchen team members
Work closely with management to maintain a smooth and efficient kitchen operation

Qualifications

Minimum of 4 years of professional kitchen experience required
Previous lead line cook or supervisory experience is preferred
Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a high-volume environment
Strong communication skills
Positive attitude and team-first mentality
Dependable, punctual, and reliable
Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
Evening and weekend availability is required
