Job Summary:

As we continue to dominate the aftermarket space, we have an opportunity to join the team within our manufacturing division. We are currently seeking a capable and experienced MIG welder II to assist in our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented and mechanically inclined with a great attitude.

Responsibilities:

Welds metal components and parts using specialized equipment such as TIG welders and robot welders.
Uses electrical currents to create heat and bond metals.
Train and mentor Mig Welder 1s when needed to fill in for department lead.
Plans work by interpreting blueprints.
Observes tests on welded surfaces to evaluate weld quality and conformance to specifications.
Follows shop welding procedures and visual inspection criteria.
Checks part dimensions to blueprints to ensure fitment quality.
Maintains a clean and safe work area.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

2+ year(s) of welding experience
Technical degree in welding highly preferred
Ability to interpret blueprints
Attention to detail
Mechanical inclination
Basic math skills
Possesses solid working knowledge of subject matter
Ability to pass dimensional inspection and weld test
Ability to lift 40-60lb throughout shift
