Full Job Description

Join Our Team!

We are seeking a detail-oriented, motivated, and experienced Assistant Controller to join our growing team in Corvallis, Oregon. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and wants to make a meaningful impact on the success of a dynamic organization. We are a team orientated collaborative environment looking for that individual that fits into our work family.

Responsibilities

Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
Reconcile general ledger accounts and ensure financial accuracy.
Assist with Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Retail when needed.
Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
Support audits and coordinate with external auditors.
Prepare and review account reconciliations and journal entries.
Assist with cash/bank reconciliations and financial reporting.
Collaborate with department managers to improve financial processes and reporting.
Perform other accounting and finance duties as assigned including preparing reports.

Qualifications

Experience in Accounting, Finance, bookkeeping or a related field a plus.
Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software/ERP systems.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
