Full Job Description

Job Overview
Koopman Consulting is looking for a part-time bookkeeper to join our accounting/payroll services team.

Qualified applicants must be proficient in Quickbooks desktop and must be comfortable working in a multiple client environment. Confidentiality, excellent organizational skills and accuracy are important qualifications for this position. The ideal candidate should be a skilled communicator, multi-tasker, reliable and committed to consistently meeting deadlines.

DUTIES:

· Daily Data Entry

. Maintain client accounts with accuracy and meet deadlines as needed

· Maintain Accounts Payable

· Maintain Accounts Receivable

· Prepare Bank & Credit Card Reconciliations

· Assist With Payroll Processing

. Utilize Quickbooks desktop accounting software, Excel & Word

· Client Relations & Reception

EXPERIENCE:

· Working knowledge of accounting procedures and practices

· Must be experienced in using QuickBooks desktop software

· Proficient in accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, bank & credit card reconciliations

· Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel Preferred

· Experience in a multi-client environment

· Committed to the protection of confidential client information

· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are critical for success in this role
