Magnolia Monitoring LLC is one of Louisiana’s leading providers of GPS and alcohol monitoring devices, pretrial supervision, and court-compliance support services. We partner with courts, attorneys, and law enforcement to help clients meet the conditions of their release while promoting accountability and rehabilitation. We’re currently seeking a reliable, tech-savvy Field Operations Specialist to join our team and assist with GPS monitor installations and client support.

Position Summary:

This part-time field-based role involves installing, servicing, and removing GPS ankle monitors, breathalyzers, and mobile monitoring devices. You’ll be interacting directly with clients in both office and jail settings, ensuring each client understands their responsibilities and devices are installed correctly.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone seeking flexible hours, fieldwork, and hands-on experience in criminal justice, law enforcement, or tech services.

Key Responsibilities:

Install and remove GPS and alcohol monitoring devices
Travel to jails, courthouses, and client residences as needed
Provide clear instruction to clients about device use and compliance
Respond to alerts, troubleshoot device issues, and document all service calls
Communicate with the office team to schedule and report on field visits
Maintain inventory, equipment, and supplies used in field operations

Required Qualifications:

Must be 21+ years old
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Able to pass a criminal background check
High school diploma or GED
Comfortable entering jail environments and interacting with court-involved individuals
Strong communication and customer service skills
Basic smartphone and computer literacy (email, apps, data entry)
Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
Physically able to bend, kneel, or stand during installations

Preferred Qualifications (Not Required):

Experience in criminal justice, law enforcement, security, or tech support
Familiarity with GPS or alcohol monitoring equipment
Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus

Schedule & Pay:

Part-Time (15–25 hours/week)
Flexible hours with occasional evening/weekend calls
Competitive hourly wage based on experience
Travel reimbursement for field visits
Opportunity to move into full-time role
