Overview

We are seeking an energetic and dynamic General Manager - Restaurant to lead our vibrant dining establishment. In this pivotal role, you will drive the overall success of the restaurant by overseeing daily operations, managing staff, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety. Your leadership will inspire your team to deliver memorable dining experiences while achieving operational excellence. Duties

Lead and manage all aspects of restaurant operations, including food preparation, service delivery, and staff supervision.
Oversee inventory control, food safety management, and adherence to health regulations to ensure a clean and safe environment.
Supervise kitchen management and food production processes, ensuring consistency in quality and presentation.
Implement staff training programs focused on customer service, food handling, POS systems (Aloha POS, Micros POS), and operational procedures.
Manage shift scheduling, cash handling, and POS transactions to optimize efficiency and accuracy.
Conduct profit and loss analysis, budgeting, and cost control measures to maximize profitability.
Foster a positive team environment through effective communication, team training, interviewing prospective employees, and managing hospitality teams.
Ensure compliance with food safety standards and supervise food industry best practices across all departments.
Handle customer inquiries or complaints promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels.
Support catering, banquet events, bar service, coffee service, or other special offerings as needed to enhance guest experiences.

Qualifications

Proven management experience within quick service & fast food restaurant environments or casual dining settings.
Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen management.
Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; cash handling experience required.
Strong background in food safety management, inventory control, and food production processes.
Demonstrated leadership skills in supervising teams, conducting training & development sessions, and managing hospitality teams effectively.
Experience with managing budgets, analyzing profit & loss statements, and implementing cost-saving strategies.
Excellent managerial communication skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster teamwork.
Previous experience in fine dining or catering environments is a plus; banquet experience is desirable.
Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
Basic math skills for order accuracy and financial oversight; strong customer service orientation is essential.
