Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Front Desk Receptionist with medical assistance experience to join our healthcare team. In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service while efficiently managing administrative and clinical tasks. Your expertise in medical office procedures, electronic health records (EHR) systems, and healthcare documentation will ensure smooth clinic operations and a positive patient experience. This position offers an exciting opportunity to combine administrative excellence with clinical support in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.

Requirement : Bilingual candidate ( Spanish fluency required)

Responsibilities

Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere while managing check-in and check-out procedures.
Schedule appointments using medical scheduling software and coordinate follow-up visits with precision.
Verify insurance information, process medical collections, and handle billing inquiries with accuracy.
Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems such as Epic, Meditech, Athenahealth, or eClinicalWorks to document patient interactions thoroughly.
Review clinical documentation for completeness and accuracy, ensuring compliance with HIPAA confidentiality policies.
Assist healthcare providers with clinical support tasks including CPT coding, ICD-9/10 coding, and review of care plans.
Answer multi-line phone systems with professional phone etiquette, directing calls appropriately and taking detailed messages.
Maintain organized medical records and ensure all filing, scanning, and data entry adhere to health information management standards.
Support office administrative functions such as typing reports, performing 10 key typing tasks, and managing office supplies.
Uphold patient privacy standards by following strict confidentiality protocols during all interactions.

Experience

Proven experience as a medical receptionist or front desk administrative support in a healthcare setting.
Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Meditech, Athenahealth, or eClinicalWorks is essential.
Knowledge of medical billing processes including Medicare claims and health insurance procedures.
Strong understanding of medical terminology, CPT coding, ICD-9/10 coding, and documentation review processes.
Previous clinic experience with patient service responsibilities in a fast-paced environment preferred.
Bilingual skills are highly desirable to effectively communicate with diverse patient populations.
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and general computer skills necessary for daily operations.
Excellent customer service skills combined with clerical experience in office management roles.
Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially while maintaining professionalism at all times.
