Full Job Description

Travel MRI Technologist

Location: Dallas, TX
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Assignment Length: 13 Weeks
Employment Type: Travel Contract

Job Overview

Seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to join a high-acuity imaging department. The ideal candidate will have strong MRI expertise, experience working in a Level I Trauma setting, and the ability to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging while providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities

Perform MRI examinations according to established imaging protocols
Produce high-quality diagnostic images for interpretation
Screen patients for MRI safety and contraindications
Prepare and position patients appropriately for procedures
Monitor patient comfort and safety throughout imaging exams
Maintain accurate imaging documentation and patient records
Verify physician orders, patient history, and required documentation
Adhere to MRI safety, infection control, and departmental policies
Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
Assist with maintaining equipment and ensuring operational readiness

Required Qualifications

Active ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT Certification
Active Texas MRT License
Current BLS Certification (AHA)
Minimum 5 years of MRI experience
Level I Trauma Center experience required

Preferred Qualifications

Previous travel assignment experience
High-volume hospital imaging experience
Experience working independently in a fast-paced environment
