Full Job Description

This position is remote eligible but you MUST be located in our business footprint, which includes the following states: TN, KY, AL, GA

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Direct day-to-day management, attendance, training, hiring, recruiting, and performance reviews for all closing department staff which includes Closers, Funders and ICD Specialists.
Interface professionally with title companies, clients, real estate agents, mortgage loan officers, and mortgage lenders to ensure a successful close.
Elevate service levels for customers by overseeing all mortgage loan closings.
Participate in the Regional Operations Center(ROC) Leadership Team. Promote the goals, standards and vision of the ROC within your team.
Manage the ROC closing pipeline. Proactively communicate to ensure all teams are informed and prepared for a successful closing.
Ensure future salability and quality control of residential mortgage loans and refinances by adhering to all lender underwriting guidelines and federal and state regulations
Examine and implement closing processes as required to maintain accurate loan files, settlement statements, and closing documents

Cultivate an environment that supports diversity, teamwork, and performance. Provide leadership though communication, performance management, development and recognition of staff
Manage the team by hiring, coaching, training and providing direction to team members through feedback to support personal development and ongoing improvement

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or equivalent required - Bachelor’s degree preferred
5 years experience in mortgage closing
Management experience in operations is needed
Understanding of lending industry trends and various mortgage products such as FHA, USDA, Conventional, etc. is needed
Exceptional communication, supervision, math, customer service, and organization skills are required
